Merit Freight Opens Cargo Office near Airport in Mangalore
Merit Freight Systems LLC, founded in 1998 by young Mangalorean entrepreneur Joseph Mathias, which is engaged in shipping activities, opened its first overseas cargo office near Bajpe airport here on May 31, 2009.
Merit Freight Systems Pvt Ltd will be handling air cargo as soon as air cargo facility begins in Mangalore airport, but until then, it will engage in sea freight services, as Merit Frieght is the only shipping company in Dubai that provides service in direct container shipment from Dubai to Mangalore. With the office in Mangalore, now it will strengthen its quality and volume of service, and the company also is planning to open a city office in the coming days.
